Frequently Asked Questions
The Jaipur Studio offers a wide range of women's ethnic wear, including kurta sets, coord sets, dupatta sets, anarkali dresses, kaftan sets, short tops, afghani sets, and unstitched suit sets. The collection spans casual daily wear, festive outfits, and a dedicated Wedding Edit for occasions like Mehendi, Haldi, Cocktail, and Trousseau.
For sensitive skin, we recommend Mul Cotton and Muslin- both are extremely breathable, lightweight, and gentle against the skin. Kota Doria is another great option that feels almost weightless. Avoid Chanderi and Chinnon if your skin reacts to synthetic blends. Our product pages mention the fabric composition clearly, so you can filter accordingly. For summer, Mul Cotton cord sets and kurta sets are the most skin-friendly picks in our collection.
Yes! The Jaipur Studio has a dedicated Plus Size Store with ethnic outfits designed to fit and flatter. We are actively expanding size options based on customer feedback, including larger sizes in popular styles like our Bandhani and Angrakha sets.
Our collection celebrates authentic Jaipur craftsmanship using fabrics like pure cotton, mul cotton, muslin, Kota Doria, Chanderi, linen, and Mashru Silk. Craft techniques include Kalamkari, Ajrakh, Bandhani, Leheriya, hand block printing, hand embroidery, mirror work, and appliqué, all sourced from skilled artisans of Jaipur.
Natural dye fabrics like Bandhani and hand block prints can experience mild colour bleeding in the first one or two washes — this is normal for authentic craft textiles and not a defect. To prevent this, wash these pieces separately in cold water with a mild detergent, and avoid soaking. Dry in shade. After the first couple of washes, the colours stabilise beautifully, and the fabric only gets softer with time.
We offer free shipping on orders above ₹1,500. Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days and delivered within 5–7 working days depending on your location. International orders are also accepted with shipping charges calculated at checkout.
Yes, the Jaipur Studio has a Return and Exchange policy. You can raise a return or exchange request through our dedicated portal on the website. We recommend checking the size chart on each product page before ordering to ensure the best fit.
Head to our Wedding Edit section, which is curated specifically for wedding occasions. It includes separate edits for Mehendi, Haldi, Cocktail, and Trousseau. You can also filter by occasion, print, fabric, or style using the Shop By categories to narrow down your search.
Yes, many of our outfits feature handcrafted elements - including hand block prints, hand embroidery, hand-painted designs, Bandhani tie-dye, and Kalamkari art. Each piece is a product of traditional craft passed down by Jaipur's artisan community, with a legacy dating back to 1950.
Most of our outfits are crafted from natural fabrics like cotton and muslin, which are best cared for with gentle hand washing or machine washing on a delicate cycle in cold water. Avoid harsh detergents for embroidered or hand-printed pieces. Dry in shade to preserve fabric quality and print vibrancy. Ironing on low heat is recommended for crisp, fresh wear.
